New Education Course Proves A Summer Sell-Ou

The newly-introduced summer version of HOB Uncut / Plus, in a brand new format, saw the HOB Academy Creative Team host the show & workshop event as an intimate affair!
Now taking place over a 2 days, but still based at the HOB Academy in Camden, this summers HOB Uncut / Plus offered the students the opportunity to extend the 1 day ‘HOB Uncut’ show into a 2 day educational experience ‘HOB Uncut Plus’. Day 1 involved a series of live demonstrations around cut, colour and styling, with commentary from each member of the team, with the following day set up as a more intimate practical workshop on live models with chances for one-to-one learning. With constant interaction and Q&A between Creative Team members and students, this new format was a refreshing and successful update to previous HOB Uncut shows.
It was a learning experience that was not to be missed, with HOB Academy Creative Director Akin Konizi stating “Our new summer HOB Uncut / Plus was a huge success. We normally only do it in October, but since that usually gets sold out, we added more dates this year and added the second day. It’s a great platform for us to be able to introduce stylists and colourists from all around the world to HOB Academy creative vision. It’s also an opportunity to show the HOB brand and identity through our fundamental techniques and also where and how we find our own inspiration.” 
Further to this, Head of Education Jake Unger added “HOB Uncut / Plus was a really great opportunity for us to meet other salon teams. We not only love sharing our knowledge, but also our insight into current trends. We’re already excited for the next one in October!”
