The HOB Salons team enjoyed a hat-trick win for a second consecutive year at the British Hairdressing Awards which saw International Creative Director, Akin Konizi awarded the ultimate title of British Hairdresser of the Year for a second year running.

It was a night HOB Salons will not forget with Baker Street stylist Darren Bain firstly picking up the London Hairdresser of the Year title. He got up on stage again with the HOB Creative Team to accept the Artistic Team of the Year Award before the whole team stood up to applaud Akin winning the final award of the night for British Hairdresser of the Year.

Held at London's Grosvenor House on 23 November, The British Hairdressing Awards, presented by Hairdressers Journal International and sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional was hosted by X Factor presenter Dermot O'Leary to an audience of over 1750 guests.

Akin Konizi is only the third hairdresser in the history of the awards to win this title two years in a row after Trevor Sorbie and Beverly C, cementing his position as one of the hairdressing greats.
