PIXIE LOTT AND ELLIE GOULDING ARE TOP OF THE LOCKS!

Ahead of their highly anticipated tours, music favourites Ellie Goulding and Pixie Lott flocked to Camden Lock's hair haven - HOB Salons -to refresh their most-wanted tresses as they get set to take to the stage!

In the midst of releasing their second albums, Pixie and Ellie came in to visit the newly crowned 2010 British Colour Technician of the Year for the ultimate service in colour care. With Ellie's highly anticipated appearance at the Hammersmith Apollo last Friday, HOB Salons' Creative Colour Director, Christel Lundqvist got her set for the big night. 'Ellie wanted to opt for an edgier finish to the pale rosewater shade she was sporting earlier this year. Working with her radiant complexion, I took Ellie to a delicate lavender hue to blend effortlessly through her soft blonde locks and give her an on-trend colour to wow her fans'.

To compliment her new hue, 2009 British Hairdresser of the Year Akin Konizi tailored her locks to suit saying, 'I wanted to keep the length throughout her hair, but by shortening her layers and adding more texture throughout the fringe area to create a more rugged look that I know Ellie likes to work with.' Following her successful gig, Ellie had her first number 1 on iTunes with her latest single, 'Your Song' and prepares for her coming tour across the UK throughout December.

Also getting ready for her tour dates which kicked off this Monday, songstress Pixie Lott took time out from her busy schedule to visit colourist of the moment, Christel, for the ultimate in colour service. 'Pixie wanted to refresh the beautiful ivory, champagne blonde hue that we had recently created earlier this year. This shade is perfect for Pixie's contemporary style and draws attention to her dark brown eyes.'

As well as her tour, Pixie still dedicates much of her time to her collaboration with Lipsy for which HOB Salons Camden's Claire Dawson did the hair for the campaign as her official hair stylists, and is very much looking forward to performing to wide audiences across the UK.

With celebs pouring into Camden for HOB's colour services including MTV's Alice Levine and Peaches Geldoff, the salon continues to be the hair destination for premium service.
