HOB's Claire Dawson and Megan Zarrabi brought their creative flair to East London's biggest fashion event - Alternative Fashion Week, as they styled the hair for the Sample Remix show.

On Tuesday 20th April the dynamic duo worked backstage at Spitalfields Traders Market, styling the hair of 7 models for the show. Accessorised with metal head pieces, the model sported fishtail plaits created, heavily clipped fringes and styles with lots of texture and movement, as they took to the catwalk which held prime position right in the heart of the market area.

Presented by Alternative Arts, the Alternative Fashion Week played host to an array of original and creative collections drawing in a large audience and a host of international press. Formed in 2007, Sample Remix is creating a storm in London's underground scene, creating one-off custom pieces which have been described as uniquely textured, creative and yet wearable.

Talking about the show Claire Dawson said, ‘being involved in the show was fantastic and allowed us to really draw on our creativity and take commercial looks that bit further. It is great to see people pushing the boundaries of fashion and art, and the turn out was incredible.'
