HOB SALONS RAISES OVER £25,000 FOR HAIRraising

Fundraising fever gripped HOB Salons on Sunday 25th April as they held a company-wide charity day, raising over £25,000 for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

Salon prices were reduced for clients with all proceeds made on the day donated to the HAIRraising appeal set up by John Frieda with the aim of raising over £1 million towards new operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital for children requiring specialist neurosurgery.

The salon teams got into the charitable spirit by donning fancy dress, playing games, hosting bake sales and holding lucky dips, whilst HOB Camden secured live bands to entertain the crowd on the Lock and HOB Northwood welcomed England football star Jermain Defoe and ex-Big Brother celebrity Nikki Grahame who stopped by the salon to support the fundraising efforts.

HAIRraising founder John Frieda said, ‘HOB has supported HAIRraising from day one - they've been one of the most participant salon groups and raised staggering amounts of money. Many congratulations and thanks to everyone at HOB'.

Donations are being accepted until the end of August and check your nearest salon for details of individual fundraising activities.
