HOB is proud to announce that HJ's British Hairdresser of the Year 2009, Akin Konizi, has been appointed Global Brand Ambassador for styling super-brand ghd.

Creative Director Akin, will be working on a host of projects including mentoring the new ghd creative art team, consulting on creative ventures, art directing shoots, delivering prestige education globally, whilst acting as a press spokesman for the brand.

Akin Konizi says, "I am delighted to be the Global Brand Ambassador for ghd. It's a brand I respect and admire and I'm looking forward to the collaboration, which I feel - with our mutual strengths - will be beneficial to our industry and push both our brands forward."
