Akin says, 'To recreate this look apply a generous spritz of High Hair Designer Spray 200ml by Wella Professionals (RRP £9.95) to towel dried hair. Comb hair into a low side parting, before roughly dividing hair into 1 inch wide sections. Holding a large pair of tongs vertically, wrap each section around the tongs. The key is to make sure all sections are wound in exactly the same direction to achieve the S type wave.

Once all the hair has been tonged, brush the hair to break up the curls and allow the waves to settle in. Apply a serum based product such as High Hair Pure Glamour 75ml (RRP £11.95) into your hands and gently run through the hair to eliminate any flyaway hairs and add a glass-like sheen. Finish with Shaper Fierce 400ml by Sebastian Professional (RRP £14.95) for hold'.
