The best in British hairdressing recently teamed up with Brit-nominated chart-topper Pixie Lott to style her hair for the video of her brand new single 'Gravity'.

Akin Konizi, Creative Director for HOB Salons and current British Hairdresser of the Year, was commissioned to create four very different hair looks for Pixie Lott on the set of her video, shot by director Nick Frew.

Assisted by Claire Dawson from the HOB Creative Team, Akin created hair looks including a stylised set-up where Akin gave Pixie a dark, mysterious long bob for a geisha-inspired look and an intricate structured updo, consisting of three bun shapes bound with red silk material to complement an arresting and impressive sequence which sees Pixie pulled through a black space by a gravity-like force.

Following the shoot, Akin said 'It was a great video to work on as I was able to give Pixie four very different looks. Not only was she the ultimate professional, she is also a very accomplished performer and open to experimenting with all the different styles, making her a delight to work with'.
