Internationally renowned for high standards in show, seminar and photographic work, the hob artistic team has made a huge impact on British hairdressing, with a reputation as one of the most innovative and exciting creative teams in the UK today and are twice winners of the British Hairdressing Awards 2008 & 2009 ARTISTIC TEAM OF THE YEAR.
Led by Artistic Director and award-winning stylist Akin Konizi, the artistic team are a fusion of the very best in hairdressing talent. Their cutting-edge, inspirational style has seen their skills in much demand, both in the UK and worldwide, having travelled to places such as Romania, Denmark, Taiwan, Germany, France, Korea and Italy to educate, motivate and inspire audiences of all sizes.
The team’s busy schedule is apportioned between creating fashion-led hair looks for photographic shoots and TV programmes, session styling for fashion magazines and shows, providing expert hair advice to the beauty press, participating in shows and seminars worldwide and teaching at the hob academy as Educators. All whilst running busy client columns in their respective salons!
Working with reputed organisations like Wella Professionals and the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, the artistic team have been involved in many high profile industry events such as Salon International, the Alternative Hair Show, and the Wella Trend Vision Award.
