Acknowledged for his ground-breaking work, Akin’s hairdressing style epitomises the hob brand and his trademark precision cutting style is revered the world over, giving Akin a loyal following amongst clients, celebrities and the media.
Under Akin’s guidance the hob artistic team are regulars on the international hairdressing circuit and their show, seminar and photographic work is in much demand. Committed to raising standards through education, Akin pioneered the hob academy in 1998. Along with his partners, Clive and Paul, Akin is currently launching a full-time high tech training academy in Camden in June 2007, where he will head up the teaching of the company’s 300 plus staff, in addition to leading a team of educators who will be accessible to students from around the world with a range of courses, from beginners to advanced level.
