SELL-OUT SUCCESS AT ‘HOB UNCUT’ ON MONDAY

HOB Academy hosted their second ‘HOB Uncut’ event on Monday afternoon in Camden Town, London, to a sell-out international crowd.
Held for the second consecutive year at Proud Camden, the event gave hairdressers and industry professionals the chance to watch live demonstrations and be inspired by the renowned HOB Creative Team, as they presented fourteen models; each with different forward-thinking precision cuts beautifully set off by artistic use of colour and contemporary finishes.
Six live cutting demonstrations were then led by Akin, working on stage alongside BHA London finalist Jake Unger, Senior Educator Ian Rotman and Educator Nestor Sanchez-Gomez. All fourteen models had been coloured beforehand by Technical Educator Sean Nolan, who also took to the stage to describe the thought process and application techniques behind his work.
For many of the audience, HOB Uncut was the fantastic finale of a busy weekend of hairdressing events, and indeed for the HOB Creative Team themselves who had been showing models at both Salon International and the Alternative Hair Show in the preceding days.
Akin says, ‘The whole team are thrilled that HOB Uncut was such a success and attracted such a wide audience from around the world. We’re looking forward to establishing this as an essential must-go-to event in the hairdressing calendar.’
The HOB Creative Team are now looking forward to a busy 2018, as they focus on delivering bespoke courses and seminars at salons across the UK and internationally.
