This exciting and challenging role is focused on creating marketing initiatives in line with the company objectives across the HOB Salons, HOB Academy, HOB Man, HOB Family, HOB Homecare and Akin Konizi platforms. You have full responsibility for developing the in-salon and online marketing strategy, aligned to sales strategies that meet and exceed company targets. You will run the day to day management of marketing projects and ensure they are completed successfully. You will manage in-salon campaigns that are aligned to digital campaigns through social media, content calendars, maintain the company’s content- measuring the effectiveness of each project and delivering the results. 

  • Creating the content across all platforms to generate increased bookings/turnover both in-salon and online.
  • To develop and maintain strong supplier relationships with product partners and industry editors to drive campaigns.
  • To build and develop strong relationships with influencers.
  • To create paid and unpaid campaigns on social media platforms to drive sales, client engagement and brand awareness.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms.
  • Working with our in-house graphic designer, brand manager and social media executive to create client communications via email, web and social platforms to target key customers.
  • Use relevant metrics to measure the success of each marketing campaign.
  • Keep up to date on the latest social media trends and algorithms
  • Keep up to date on fashion and industry trends
  • Develop and maintain a significant library of digital assets, suitable for online and offline communications and the development of intriguing web content.
  • Manage any relevant market and client research initiatives to frequently benchmark our services and products.
  • Attend and present at weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Attend quarterly salon visits to build and develop relationships with the salon managers and teams, providing them a tailored marketing strategy that is focused on their salon demographic and clientele.

  • Demonstratable experience of developing and implementing marketing communication strategies effectively.
  • 2-5 years experience using PPC platforms (Google Ads, Instagram and Facebook ads.)
  • Proven interest in digital marketing .
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting (Excel, Powerpoint.)
  • Great organisational skills- a good  planner, able to prioritise and cope well with changing priorities where needed.
  • Ability to be proactive and self-motivated and can use your own initiative
  • Experience working in the hair/fashion/beauty industry is ideal but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
